When a vessel's LCG is aft of her LCB, the vessel will __________.

A. trim by the stern

B. trim by the head

C. be on an even keel

D. be tender

Comments

  1. When comparing the relative positions of LCG and LCB the deeper draft will always be toward the end of the vessel closest to LCG. So choice "A" is the best answer.

Another thing that can confuse people what happens if LCG is forward of midships? Well the vessel will trim by the stern as long as LCG is Aft of LCB even though both are forward of midships.
