    1. It has been argued a plane has only two dimensions with no thickness, so you could say it has no center of gravity!

      Over the years choice "B." has been the classic illustration of the LCF, because students were asked to simily cut out the area of the waterplane using a piece of cardboard and then using a pin to find the balance point to illustrate the location of the LCF.

    Having discussed the topic over the years, I believe that the following definition better describes the centre of flotation - geometric centre of waterplane area
