ReplyDeleteYou can't counterflood to correct a list due to a negative GM! If you do that, the ship can roll to the other side and acquire a greater angle of list or even capsize.
With a negative GM, you must start flooding the central compartments and then the compartments at the same side of the list, when you be sure that the GM is not negative anymore, you can counterflood to correct the list(now due to off-center weight).
